Mr. Woody is not some stiff, old-fashioned bar fixture, but a creative genius who is always busy behind the bar, tinkering with this and that, here and there. He let us know that Fehér Nyúl Pils was longing for mulberry wood from Hungarian soil. We did not question the gentleman.
The autumn season invited our classic pilsner to take part in a dance of more complex flavours. That is why we aged it for a while on locally sourced mulberry wood cubes, allowing the flavours to deepen, new ones to emerge, and a unique beer to be born—something that, deep down, already feels strangely familiar.
